OTC Advisor: Advancing Patient Self-Care

This continuing nursing education activity is approved by the Washington State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

OTC Advisor is sponsored by the Nurse Practitioner Healthcare Foundation in collaboration with the American Pharmacists Association and the American Academy of Physician Assistants and supported by an educational grant from Procter & Gamble.

To Receive Contact Hours

  1. Read the module, and review the references and Web site links.
  2. Go to “Registration and Post-Test.” You will be asked to register, take the post-test, and complete the evaluation.
  3. If you pass the test with a score of 80% or higher, you may print a certificate for this activity.
  4. If you do not pass the test with a score of 80% or higher, you have one opportunity to retake the post-test.

“OTC Advisor: Advancing Patient Self-Care” is a seven-module program that provides a total of 17 hours of online continuing nursing education in patient self-care.
