NPHF/Pfizer Community Innovations Grant Program
The Application deadline is November 15, 2009.
Eight (8) awards will be given to practicing nurse practitioners and graduate nurse practitioner students with projects designed to foster innovation at the local community level in the areas of service, education, or research. Grants will be awarded based on the quality of the project, the target community and the anticipated value of the project to the community. Each recipient will receive an initial award of $2,500. Upon completion of the project, an additional $1,000 will be awarded to each recipient to support project dissemination (e.g. travel expenses for presenting at a regional/national meeting; editing a paper for publication; preparing a poster, etc.). The project must be completed within 2 years. Eight (8) awards. Total amount of each award is $3,500.
